On March 19, 2025, the United Counties of Prescott and Russell (the “UCPR”) were present at the launch of the 2025-2029 Strategic Plan of the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (“HGH”).
The theme of this new plan, Elevating Care Through Collaboration and Innovation, carries strong messages. HGH has been a long-standing partner of the UCPR and a key collaborator in all its municipalities. By working closely together, they better understand the needs of the communities of Prescott and Russell, and they can offer programs and services adapted to the realities and daily challenges of residents.
“HGH is constantly on the lookout for innovative solutions to improve our communities’ wellbeing. Every resident, no matter their age or background, always has access to quality health care. That is why the launch of this new Strategic Plan is an opportune moment to thank the entire team at the hospital. HGH is a pillar of our region, and we are grateful for the work their team does every day,” said Yves Laviolette, Warden of the UCPR, at the launch.
