The UCPR are pleased to announce that Yves Laviolette, Mayor of the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet, will serve as Warden for the year 2025.

On November 23, 2024, the UCPR held their annual Warden’s Banquet at Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute. Mr. Normand Riopel, Mayor of Champlain Township, celebrated his second mandate as Warden in front of a full house.

On November 18, 2024, Prescott-Russell Victim Services, in collaboration with the UCPR and other community partners, will officially reopen the Hawkesbury Warming Centre for the winter of 2024-2025.

The UCPR announce that the Cobb’s Lake Bridge located along County Road 2 (Russell Road) is now reopened to traffic.

The EOWC welcomes the Ontario Government’s investment in municipalities and the services that they deliver as part of the 2024 Ontario Economic Outlook and Fiscal Review: Building Ontario for You.

The UCPR are at the final stages of construction of the new Prescott and Russell Residence, which is under construction since the winter of 2021.

The Prescott-Russell Residence Foundation is pleased to announce that LA FRIPERIE de Hawkesbury has made a major donation of $100,000 to its Lift Me Up campaign.

The Prescott and Russell Entrepreneurship Centre and the United Counties of Prescott and Russell, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, enabled the start-up of six businesses during the summer of 2024.
