Temporary Interruption

The United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR) Paramedic Services have been informed that their electronic health record management system has been voluntarily and precautionarily shut down as a result of a cybersecurity incident within the IT infrastructure of their Service Provider.

Although the system is an important resource for the Paramedics of the region, the impact of this service interruption on the operations of the UCPR Paramedic Services is minimal and does not affect their ability to respond to 9-1-1 emergency calls.

Until further notice, patients under the care of the Prescott and Russell Community Paramedicine Program are asked to confirm or book their appointments by phone at (613) 662-2084 or by email at [email protected].

This situation is currently affecting the majority of paramedic services across Ontario. The appropriate authorities and resources are being deployed to restore the service as soon as possible.

Updates will be shared when available.
