PR Transpo Intermunicipal Transit Service, which was due to resume on June 5th, will remain interrupted until further notice.
The additional delay is largely due to the complexity of operational challenges facing the pilot project. PR Transpo is among the first intermunicipal public transit services to be implemented in a rural setting, and, due to workforce challenges and low ridership, the service had to be temporarily interrupted in December 2022.
The project team recognizes the inconvenience this extended interruption may cause to service users and is working hard to resolve this situation as soon as possible.
