The Desjardins Ontario Credit Union Donates $30,000 to the Prescott-Russell Residence Foundation

The Foundation is pleased to announce a generous donation of $30,000 to the Prescott-Russell Residence Foundation. This contribution assists with the Foundation’s commitment to supporting the health and well-being of the community.

The funds will be allocated to the Foundation’s fundraising campaign, Lift Me Up. With the community’s support, this campaign will serve several purposes with the goal of assisting the Prescott and Russell Residence’s support staff, as well as greatly enhancing the well-being, safety, and mobility of residents.

The Foundation is grateful for the support from Desjardins Ontario Credit Union, which launched a call for projects in order to support organizations with structuring projects that have positive impacts on the community. These projects must meet one of the 5 priorities set out in their commitment plan.

“With the Community Development Fund, our goal is to support promising projects that have a real impact on Ontario communities, and the “Lift Me Up” campaign is doing just that. We are delighted to support the Foundation’s efforts, which will benefit the entire community,” said Martine Lévesque, Advisor, Community Relations at Desjardins Ontario Credit Union.

This generous donation will help fund essential programs and initiatives to enhance the lives of the residents and to ensure they receive the best possible care. This will contribute to the Prescott-Russell Residence Foundation's objective of creating sufficient capital to purchase essential equipment that is needed to provide quality care to residents.
