It is with sadness that the United Counties of Prescott and Russell (the “UCPR”) have learned of the passing of Mr. Jean-Yves Lalonde.
A politician greatly involved in his community, he was Mayor of the Township of Alfred and Plantagenet from 2003 to 2014, as well as Warden of the UCPR Council in 2007 and 2011.
We offer our sincere condolences to Mr. Lalonde's loved ones. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
