The United Counties of Prescott and Russell Warden Daniel Lafleur’s Golf Tournament was held today at the beautiful Casselview Golf and Country Club where 178 golfers took part in this annual benefit event.
Presented by the new Ford Canada Distribution centre in Casselman, the 2022 edition of the prestigious Tournament was marked by the immense popularity of the event and the unprecedented generosity of the event’s sponsors.
“I would like to thank all participants, sponsors, and organizers for making this day a great success. Without the collaboration and support of everyone, we would not have been able to hold this event which aims to support non-profit organizations of the Prescott and Russell region” explained Daniel Lafleur, Warden of the UCPR. “It is obvious that the last few months have been very difficult for these organizations, and seeing the community coming together and so generously supporting them makes me very proud.”

At the Warden’s Annual Banquet, to be held on Saturday, November 19th, at the J.R. Brisson Sports Complex Community Centre in Casselman, additional funds will be raised by Warden Lafleur. The proceeds from all the Warden’s events will then be donated to community organizations at the end of the year.
