Public Registry of Pecuniary Interest
Members of Council are required to file a written statement when they have a pecuniary interest.
Pursuant to section 6.1 of the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act, the United Counties of Prescott and Russell are required to establish and maintain a public registry of declarations of pecuniary interest of Members of Council. The registry includes two items for each declaration: a copy of each written declaration of pecuniary interest that a Member of Council files with the Clerk and a copy of each declaration of pecuniary interest that the Clerk records in the minutes.
