Cross-Country Skiing, Snowshoeing and Fatbike
In winter, the Larose Forest offers several trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, including 46 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails, 18 kilometres of snowshoeing trails, and 38 kilometres of combined classic and skate skiing trails. Fatbike enthusiast must use the snowshoeing trails. These trails, located in the heart of the Larose Forest, are less than half an hour from Ottawa and 45 minutes from Hawkesbury.

Access to the trails is free. However, users can make monetary donations in the boxes provided that can be found at both access points.
Please note that pedestrians and dogs are forbidden to walk on any of the cross-country skiing trails. Those on foot are invited to use the snowshoe trails.
