Accessibility services

The Corporation of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR) is committed to providing equal treatment to people with disabilities with respect to the use and benefit of the Counties services, programs, goods, facilities and information.

The UCPR has implemented new policies in order to comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

The goal of the Multi-Year Accessibility Plan (2013-2017) is to set out the UCPR strategies for identifying, removing and preventing barriers that challenge people with disabilities.

Accessibility Advisory Committee

The Accessibility Advisory Committee provides advice regarding municipal services and facilities. The committee identifies ways to improve accessibility by removing existing barriers over time and by preventing new ones from being created. The committee is comprised of community volunteers and Council representation.

Accessibility Feedback Form

Your feedback is important to help us serve you better. We offer a feedback form that you can submit to any UCPR facility, or mail it to the Coordinator of the Advisory Accessibility Committee.
